Description
Due to its 36-hour duration of effect, the erectile dysfunction drug Tadalafil from Lilly pharmaceutical firm is occasionally referred to as The Weekend Pill.
Since 2003, the UK has granted it a licence. It received a UK licence following Sildenafil, becoming the second erectile dysfunction (ED) prescription drug of its kind (sildenafil). Tadalafil has become more well-liked and frequently recommended as a result of its sustained effectiveness and the ability to take a daily tablet at a modest dose.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) symptoms can also be managed with tadalafil.
The prolonged duration of action of Tadalafil is advantageous. Tadalafil has a half-life of 36 hours, compared to 4 hours for Sildenafil, 4 hours for Vardenafil, and the well-known moniker “The Weekend Pill” for Vardenafil. After using Tadalafil, erections will only happen intermittently for the first 36 hours, only when arousal is present.

After taking Tadalafil, some men notice their vision has a bluish or yellowish tint. This is not harmful and goes away in a few hours. All ED medications have the potential for this side effect (PDE5 inhibitors).
Headache, back discomfort, muscle aches, pain in the arms or legs, nasal congestion, face flushing, and indigestion are other typical adverse effects (affecting 1%–10%).
